I have been putting some effort into building a grocery & personal care stockpile over the last 4 weeks, dedicating $10 of grocery budget each week to what I have named our $10 Stockpile. These first 4 weeks I’ve focused mainly on Personal Care items, but now that we have 72 rolls of toilet paper and enough bodywash and deodorant to keep us all smelling clean and fresh, I’m thinking it’s time to focus on food items next.
Below is a list I made up of what to stockpile. As far as what to stockpile when? I’m still working on that. Though with Memorial Day coming up I’m thinking condiments and meat!
| Fridge/Freezer Meat ground beef chicken breasts Prepared Meals Condiments |
Pantry Baking flour sugar salt pwdr. milk chocolate/baking chips cake mix canned frosting Breakfast Paper / Plastic Canned Beverage |
Personal Care His deodorant toothpaste floss bodywash shampoo mouthrinse Hers Kids All of Us First Aid |
Household Cleaning white vinegar toiletbowl cleaner multi-surface cleaner disinfecting wipes Laundry |
You can print this list out if you want, below is a button to do just that next to “Please Share” (second button from the right). I have also organized my stockpiling inventory list into a MS Excel spreadsheet – mainly to make it easier for me to keep track of when I stockpiled up on what, plus the store and coupon deals I used for each transaction.
Free Download: It’s not perfect, but it is modifiable and includes all of the categories in the list above, divided into 4 separate worksheets (one for each column in the table above). Feel free to download my Stockpile Inventory List, and make it your own! (Click on “Stockpile Inventory List” and “save link as” to your computer)
Hope you find this helpful – be sure to let me know – I love comments!
