…and I’m hoping to win at least one more this year!

This holiday season, I have tried to be creative, not so much in my gift giving, more along the lines of a creative way of gift buying, both for myself and some to give to family. One way, which didn’t cost me anything, was to enter giveaways. It did take a little effort, and as I have learned, organization, but this past couple of weeks it really paid off! I won 2 gifts in giveaways on TwoClassyChics blog!

Early last week. I wrote a post about the Buxton Ladies Wallet Giveaway that ended there on Wednesday. The giveaway that started it all! It was the one I really wanted, I did just about everything I could to win it, and I DID! This one I’m very excited about, because it’s going under the tree for me, if it gets here in time.

I entered one of their giveaways, as an extra entry for the wallet giveaway, with the intention of winning my little nephew a colored set of Citiblocs. While I was working on those entries a Zak Designs – Toy Story 3 Child’s Mealtime Set giveaway began, and is currently still open. I entered that one too, plus it gave me an added entry into giveaways. I won that giveaway too, and can now cross my little nephew off my list!

So, on to the next contest, also at the TwoClassyChics blog because I have another little nephew who would love the Zak Designs Toy Story 3 child’s mealtime set. You can grab your own chance to win, as the giveaway is open until next Saturday, December 18th.

If you follow me on Twitter (@BudgetMom) you’ve seen my recent tweets while entering the giveaways on TwoClassyChics – as a matter of fact, I was a winner over this past weekend of a 50 PC. wooden block set that I already have planned as part of my little nephew’s birthday gift.

Well, I’m in love another product now that they are giving away. It’s a Buxton Double Zip Around Indexer wallet from WalletGear. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a new wallet. Small enough to fit in my purse without taking up too much space, but plenty of room to organize my cards, ID, money and coupons! (Just what my current wallet is lacking.)

There are several features about this wallet that really appeal to me.
1. It’s got lots of compartments! Ask my husband, I love containers, and having a place for things around the house. The same goes for my purse, and wallet. I currently have a separate change purse that I rarely ever use, thus change ends up collecting at the bottom of my purse. This wallet has a zippered change section on one side.
2. On a related point, this wallet is divided into two wrap around zippered sections – one with slots for cards and ID, and the other opens up to a divided section with a zippered pocket in the middle. Lots of places to put things, and making it easier to find what I need.
3. One feature this wallet has that my current wallet doesn’t is an outside pocket, which is always convenient to tuck away receipts, or store coupons for easy access.
4. I love the color! I’ve always had black wallets, but the winner has their choice of either black, or this dark red. From the pictures, and the review on TwoClassyChics it’s made of leather, and will be durable to last a long time. It really does have everything I need and have been looking for in a wallet!

You too could have a chance to win this wallet at TwoClassyChics. There is a great review of the product, and a couple more pictures there to give you an even better idea of the wallet’s features. But you’ll have to hurry! This giveaway ends Wednesday, December 8th!

What peaks my interest about Once a Week Cooking is all of the above! But if I had to pick one, I would have to say it’s the make ahead meals which leads to better time management potential. I’m a single work at home homeschooling mom. Too often I opt for fast food drive-thru or ramen or even just sandwiches because it’s fast and easy, especially when I don’t get around to thinking about dinner until the last minute.

I’ve emailed our winner, and hope she enjoys her free membership to Once A Week Cooking!

For those who did not win, but are still interested in trying out Once A Week Cooking, Val is put in place a special trial offer. You can now sign-up for a membership, and receive your first month at a 50% discount. Visit OnceAWeekCooking.com for all the details, and to sign up.

Thanks, too, to Val for her generous offer that made this giveaway possible!
