Been Away Too Long
WAY too long. Last month, actually now almost 2 months ago, I blogged about how we are adjusting to a new normal here in our household. Things are finally starting to settle down, but somehow along the line, I got off track in my blogging. Though I have had a running list of the posts I want to, and plan to get to.
Just as one has to budget their money, time management is like another budget item when it comes to anyone’s day. I have been focused on our fluctuating budget, my ability to make money while also saving it, and balancing that all out.
None of this may make sense right now, but in upcoming posts, it may.
Here’s a preview of posts to come…
1. I am getting to know my slow cookers better. Follow my adventures in converting some of my recipes from stovetop to slow cooker.
2. We went from a salary to hourly pay rate which threw our monthly income, and family budget into a tailspin for a bit. I got a handle on it, and will be posting some tips I learned along the way.
3. I completed my subscription to Once a Week Cooking quite awhile ago, and now have 6 months worth of make ahead menus. I’ve been going through those again, and have some fun ideas for perfecting my once a week cooking skills. Haven’t been able to get a whole week’s worth of cooking done in one afternoon, yet, but I’m working towards it!
4. Getting back to my budgeting, couponing, and stockpiling basics – more and more, organization has proved to be a key component.
5. Look for the return of my weekly Coupon Inserts Previews and $10 Stockpile posts!
